Our Story

Calgary's Premier Indian Destination

Chandigarh Curry House was founded by passionate food entrepreneurs who transformed a blank canvas in downtown Calgary into a stunning Indian restaurant. Our grand opening on July 8, 2025, marked the beginning of a new chapter in Calgary's downtown food scene.

Named after the iconic city of Chandigarh — the capital of Punjab, India — our restaurant pays homage to the owners' roots and their mission to serve authentic Chandigarhi and Punjabi flavours to Calgarians. We specialize in North Indian, Punjabi, and Indo-Chinese cuisine, offering everything from traditional curries and tandoori specialties to pizza and bubble tea.

Chandigarh Curry House operates as a dual-concept dining experience alongside Hot Pizza & Donair, allowing guests to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine as well as pizza, donairs, burgers, wraps, and bubble tea. With extended late-night hours Thursday through Saturday (open until midnight), we are a popular choice for late-night dining in the downtown core.
